While Saving Location â FRM-40735: ON-INSERT trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-29273
IssueÂ
Error while saving a new location âFRM-40735: ON-INSERT trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-29273â. See screenshot below.
Steps to reproduce
1. Login to Oracle Applications and go to responsibility âProjects â Vision Servicesâ.
2. Navigate to Setup > Resources and Organizations > Work Structures > Define Locations
3. Create a new location and save the record. Error appears.
Resolution
1. Upon investigation it was found that the Vision environment automatically populates system profile âIRC: Geocode Hostâ with value âhttp://elocation.oracle.com/elocation/lbsâ (see screenshot below).
2. Simply remove this value by going to System Administrator responsibility > System > Profile. And then query system profile âIRC: Geocode Hostâ and remove any value at site level.
3. Retest by creating a new location. The error wouldnât appear now.
